Privacy notice — pages built with betterlanders.com
Last updated: June 3, 2026
You’re viewing this because a landing page you visited was built and is hosted with betterlanders.com. This notice explains what data that page handles and who is responsible for it. It is separate from the betterlanders.com account-holder privacy policy.
Who is responsible for your data
- The page owner (the person or business who created the page) is the data controller for anything you submit through a form on the page — for example your name or email. They decide why they collect it and how they use it. If you have a question, a request to access or delete your data, or want to opt out, contact the page owner directly. Their contact details are usually on the page.
- betterlanders.com is the hosting provider (processor). We store and deliver the page and pass any form submissions to the page owner on their behalf. We act only on the page owner’s instructions for that data.
What data is collected
- Form submissions — only the fields you choose to fill in and submit (e.g. email, name). These go to the page owner.
- Privacy-friendly analytics — if you accept the notice on the page, we set a single first-party cookie holding a hashed visitor id so the page owner can count visits and conversions. We do not store your IP address (only a coarse country derived from it), we do not track you across other sites, and we do not use advertising trackers. If you don’t accept, the analytics cookie is not set.
Your choices
- You can decline the analytics cookie by choosing Decline on the on-page notice (or clear it any time in your browser). Declining is remembered and respected.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell your personal information. You may opt out of sharing for analytics by choosing Decline on the notice, and you have the right to know, access, and delete data. For form data, contact the page owner (the controller); for hosted analytics, email privacy@betterlanders.com.
- To access, correct, or delete data you submitted through a form, contact the page owner (the controller).
- If you can’t reach the page owner, or have a concern about how betterlanders.com handles hosted data, email privacy@betterlanders.com and we’ll help route your request.
Reporting an abusive or fraudulent page
If you believe a page hosted by betterlanders.com is fraudulent, phishing, infringing, or otherwise abusive, report it to abuse@betterlanders.com and we will review it.
