Abuse & Takedown Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
betterlanders.com lets people build and host landing pages. We don’t pre-screen what users create, but we don’t allow our hosting to be used for abuse. This policy explains what is prohibited and how to report a page so we can review and, where warranted, remove it.
What we don’t allow
- Phishing, credential harvesting, or pages that impersonate another brand or person.
- Fraud, scams, deceptive offers, or fake checkout / payment pages.
- Malware distribution or links to malicious downloads.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Hate, harassment, incitement to violence, or sexual content involving minors.
- Anything illegal in the jurisdiction of the page owner or its intended audience.
How to report a page
Email abuse@betterlanders.com with:
- The full URL of the page (e.g.
https://betterlanders.com/landers/abc123). - A short description of the problem and which category above it falls under.
- Any supporting detail (screenshots, the brand being impersonated, etc.).
We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and to action clear-cut abuse (phishing, malware, illegal content) faster. We may unpublish a page while we investigate.
Copyright / DMCA notices
If you are a rights-holder and believe a hosted page infringes your copyright, send a notice to abuse@betterlanders.com including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The URL of the allegedly infringing page.
- Your contact details (name, email, address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised, and that the information in your notice is accurate and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the page and notify the page owner, who may submit a counter-notice. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
What we can and can’t do
betterlanders.com is the hosting provider, not the author of user pages. We can unpublish a page, suspend an account, and pass a complaint to the page owner. We can’t resolve a private dispute between you and a page owner, or act as a court. For data a page collected about you, see our privacy notice for published pages.
