Refund Policy

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. All refunds are processed by Paddle on our behalf.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your Pro or Pro+ subscription, contact us within 30 days of your first payment and we will issue a refund.

Because each generation and edit consumes paid AI compute that cannot be reclaimed, the guarantee covers largely unused subscriptions. If you have consumed only a small number of credits, we issue a full refund. If you have used a significant portion of your monthly credits or published pages, we may issue a prorated refund reflecting the credits already consumed. When a refund is issued, your account returns to the Free plan and your credit balance is reset to the free allotment.

To request a refund, email hello@betterlanders.com with your account email address and a brief note. We aim to process all refund requests within 3 business days. Refunded amounts are returned to your original payment method via Paddle.

The 30-day guarantee applies to your first payment only on a new subscription. Renewal payments are not eligible for the money-back guarantee, but you may cancel before the next renewal at any time.

EU / EEA / UK statutory withdrawal right

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of your first payment, without giving any reason.

Note: by using the service after purchase (accessing the dashboard, generating a lander, or using any AI features), you acknowledge that the service has been commenced and you may lose your statutory withdrawal right to the extent the service has already been provided. This does not affect your right to the 30-day money-back guarantee above.

To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, email hello@betterlanders.com within 14 days of your first payment with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw.

Failed AI generations

If an AI generation fails for any technical reason (provider error, timeout, etc.), the 5 credits charged for that generation are automatically refunded to your credit balance — no request needed. This happens within seconds of the failure being detected.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro or Pro+ subscription at any time through your Paddle billing portal. After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again. No partial-period refunds are issued for unused time after the first 30 days.

Disputes and chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer, please contact us at hello@betterlanders.com or Paddle directly at paddle.com/support. We can almost always resolve billing issues faster and more easily than a formal dispute, which can take weeks and may result in loss of access to your account.
